What are Clubs?

An investment club is a small group of individual investors who come together to form their own customized mutual fund. At group meetings—usually held monthly—members deposit their investments, review studies of stocks presented by other club members, and select one or more stocks in which to invest.

Investment club provide a safe and supportive environment for novice investors to learn the basics of investing, as well as a fun collaborative environment for investors of any level to share their knowledge with each other.

Self-directed investment clubs Not a joiner? If you like the idea of learning to invest in a club setting, but are wary of mixing your money with other people, or can't invest in the club account for whatever reason, there is another BetterInvesting opportunity that may be right for you.

Just like traditional clubs, self-directed investment clubs meet regularly and share analysis, insight, and information in pursuit of investment opportunities. The difference is that after investment decisions are made, club members invest through their own accounts.
