The page is still broken after nearly 3-months. If you add a password as most will, you will get an error message stating the passwords do not match. NAIC has tried w/o success to resolve this failure and is refusing to fix it or update the input prompts about a password. They claim it's too complicated to fix and this problem will be fixed in the next upgrade coming sometime in January '07 (they hope!).

Sometime in October '06 the folks at NAIC made yet another upgrade to the WEB site. Prior to that time the sign-up process worked just fine. After the upgrade, no one could sign up. Any sign up would fail because it would not accept ANY PASSWORD, nor or a BLANK PASSWORD. So you either way you just couldn't sign up!
You would think professionals would check their work before releasing it but that's not the case here. This is just one more occasion where an upgrade has broken the Maryland WEB page causing us to be out of touch or w/o some resource for an extended time. There have been many, but one example was the upgrade last year that cut off all our incoming email, and of course we have no way to know it. We only found out because a local member, after not getting through via email, finally wrote a letter and sent it to us using the US Mail. It was almost 2-months before this was resolved.
So for now please sign up (below in the yellow box) with ONLY your "First and Last" name and email address. Leave the password blank. Later after you are approved for the MD-CG email list you can log on and access your profile and add a password. Either come back here or copy the links for later.Below is the very complicated, long, URL link.
