MODEL CLUB

Actual working club of Chapter Directors convening a meeting open to the public every quarter. Purpose is for those interested to see how a club operates. All open meetings are free and the public is invited. No registration required. Observe an actual club meeting with money invested. After the meeting we will answer your questions. This is the place to get answers about starting such a club or answers to your club questions. It should be required for those wanting to start an investment club.

Growing Pains - With deepest regret, the council has been forced to a no refund policy for all programs. Our programs have become so popular we have had many calls stating a desire to attend, but not sure if it will be possible. They ask if a refund would be sent if they were unable to attend. Imagine how difficult it would be to determine when we have reached capacity and how much material to have ready. Such a practice imposes an impossible situation. You may send another in your place. We truly regret this circumstance. Success brings some growing pains. If we know of someone who might like to come in your place, we will be happy to give you the information.

• Then fill in the information pertaining to the event you wish to attend.
• ALL PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
• Please include your individual BetterInvesting member number, which is the 8 digits found after the Club number and hyphen above your name on the mailing label on your BetterInvesting Magazine. It is not the club number on the dues statement. The Club number starts with a letter or # sign. We do not accept the club number - only your individual number on the magazine.
• Be sure to list all additional names, addresses & BetterInvesting #, if applicable, on a separate sheet, so materials will be ready and places reserved. If you need special accommodations please state your needs.

  NOTE: Classes are normally limited to the first 60 people who register and submit payment for the course(s) selected. Classes may be cancelled if fewer than 20 people register. Registration needs to be received no later than seven days prior to date of class. Some programs may fill before the closing date. You will be charged $10 extra if you register for a class at the door on the day of class. No receipt will be mailed. If a session is full, your check will be returned. However, if you wish to be notified of your registration, you may send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and we will send a confirmation. Free programs do not require registration. Please notify the KCBetterInvesting Chapter 45 days in advance of a class or training session of any special accommodations you may require. Please state your specific needs at that time. Thank you.
