Welcome to Capital Area's website.

The Capital Area Chapter of BetterInvesting provides services to individuals and investment clubs, with the goal of helping both to invest wisely in the stock market.

Our primary function is to offer educational programs for our members. The Class schedule is printed in our annual newsletter and posted in the Events area. We also provide the opportunity for clubs to have one of our chapter volunteers make personal visits.

Personal visits to clubs can be arranged on an as desired basis simply by contacting our President, Don Clark or any of the Chapter Directors listed on the Contacts page.

In addition to classes and club visits, we will hold special events throughout the year.

Investment Education - We are fortunate to have as our director of education Dr. Kaush Meisheri. Dr. Meisheri has had several articles published in the BetterInvesting Magazine, and is the author of the Quick Analysis process that is being used by many investment clubs as a means to screen a stock to determine if they are worth while studying further. Board Meetings: Capital area board meets monthly except June, July, August. Guests are always welcome. The 2005-2006 schedule is posted in the Calender of Events.
