Model Club, Computer Investors Group, Club & Member Services

Model Club

You are welcome to attend the meetings of our Model Club. The purpose of the club is to publicly demonstrate NAIC principles and how to run an investment club. The emphasis is on how to run an investment club rather than on how to select stock. Our classes teach stock selection more fully than we could in a short meeting.  To arrange a visit to the Club, please contact Eric Aker at (408) 241-8411. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.

Computer Investors Group

The Silicon Valley Chapter has a Computer Investors Group which is open to all individuals and club members interested in learning how to use computers and the Internet for investing. The group shares computer information, skills, provides support for questions on NAIC software and information on Internet resources and services. There is also a specific focus each month and see our newsletter or schedule below for topics.  The Computer Investors Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30.  It does not meet in July and August.  For further information contact Jim Powell at svcnaic2@hotmail.com.

Club and Member Services

There is an exciting new program for club members to get together and discuss making their club meetings the best ever. A number of clubs have told us that they would like help with club issues like motivating club members, creating education programs, and defining tasks for club stock watchers. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.  This is a great chance to get together and share ideas over a brown-bag lunch. Join us quarterly for the Brown Bag Luncheons.  For further information contact Janet La Rochelle, Club Support at numbersgal4all@yahoo.com
