Some Ideas for Structuring Your Club's Educational Presentations

Has your investment club run into a stone wall when it comes to creating or maintaining an educational program?  The Mid-Michigan Chapter has developed an outline which your club might find helpful.  Based on the newly printed Stock Selection Handbook by Bonnie Biafore, these lessons lead you through an 18-month or longer curriculum which should result in a better appreciation of the SSG and its value in NAIC investing.  Also attached to this article is a Powerpoint presentation first presented to the February 2004 Mid-Michigan Stock Forum which gives some suggestions on why you need an educational component for your meeting and how to set up a long-range educational program.  Take a peek and get started now in creating an interesting and valuable resource for your club.
