OCTOBER 2003Printer Friendly VersionIda C Boutte winner of the 2003 Thomas O'Hara AwardBy a unanimous vote, the NIA board selected and presented at the National Convention in Norfolk the winner of the 2003 Thomas O'Hara Award. The recipient of this prestigious award is our own IDA BOUTE. Congratulations, IDA! Ida has been a director of LA/MS Chapter for eight years. Served as Investor' Fair Chairperson for four successful fairs. Finance Chairperson and Assistant to the Treasurer coordinated three transitions of Treasurers. She assisted with special youth programs at three recent National Congresses and as a volunteer and part-time staff member of the Diocese of New Orleans Offices, she was instrumental in getting the youth program into the parochial schools in the New Orleans Area. Ida regularly attends and works National Congresses and regional gatherings as well as neighboring Chapters Fairs. She handles all advance registration of LA/MS Chapter activities and can be found at the majority of Chapter workshops and other Chapter activities. The Directors of the LA/MS Chapter of NAIC are grateful for the diligent and tireless leadership that Ida has given to our Chapter.
