After 2 years of membership in GNOMIC, members should have enough knowledge to start an Investment Club of their own and are encouraged to do so. Interested in becoming a member? Anyone in the LA/MS Chapter area is eligible to apply for membership. To become a member you must attend 3 GNOMIC meetings. After 3 meetings you may fill out an application for membership. All new members of GNOMIC are required to pay a one-time fee of $15. When accepted, if you are not currently a member of NAIC, you will pay the current NAIC dues and become a member of NAIC. As a member of GNOMIC you will be able to invest from $10 to $100 (in increments of $10) per month into the Partnerships Portfolio. GNOMIC maintains an investment portfolio following NAIC procedures. Each month members will analyze a stock, either the current months Stock to Study from the Better Investing Magazine or any other stock from a member who brings in a completed Stock Selection Guide(SSG). All members present are allowed to vote on stock purchases and stock sales. Memberships are limited to a two-year maximum membership.
