OCTOBER 2004Printer Friendly VersionNAIC Most Active -- Top Ten CompaniesNAIC Performance Perspective
Here is a look at the companies attracting the interest of NAIC investors, according to their recent buy and sell decisions, as reported by a small, informal sampling. What Is This About? Better Investing features a monthly summary of transactions in the monthly magazine and has been doing so since March 1999, reviving a practice that NAIC used to publish in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The magazine summary provides transactions for trailing 8-week periods. The online version provides a shorter time frame, using a 4-week trailing period. NAIC members, whether as part of a club or as individual investors, are invited to record their transactions by following this link. If you're having trouble using this feature, you may also send your SSG-based decisions via e-mail or by postcard/letter to P.O. Box 220, Royal Oak MI 48068. There are no special requirements and this is not a private party. Any NAIC member is urged to participate and we hope that you'll be willing to share SSG-based decisions. The report need only include Ticker and Buy or Sell. Some clubs have added the e-mail address to their automated brokerage confirmations that go to all club members AND the Most Active e-mail address. If your club does this, to avoid double-counting please don't use the link on this page. Thanks to all of you who have participated, and we truly hope you find the NAIC Most Active to be a source of ideas for further study. |
